Abstract
S ciljem ispitivanja razlika u uspješnosti uĉenja uĉenika koji nastavu provode na tradicionalan naĉin i pomoću konceptualnih mapa tijekom školske godine 2013./2014. provedeno je istraživanje na uzorku od 96 uĉenika sedmih razreda dviju osnovnih škola. Istraživanje se sastojalo od provedbe inicijalne provjere znanja, obrade nastavnih tema: Ptice i Sisavci, završne provjere znanja te ponovljene završne provjere znanja nakon ljetnih praznika. Pitanja prve kognitivne razine u oba testa riješili su bolje uĉenici koji su nastavu provodili na tradicionalna naĉin, dok su pitanja druge razine bolje riješili uĉenici koji su nastavni sadrţaj uĉili pomoću konceptualnih mapa. Slabijim i srednjim uĉenicima bolje je raditi na tradicionalan naĉin, dobri uĉenici postiţu iste rezultate radili tradicionalno ili pomoću konceptualnih mapa, dok je odliĉnim uĉenicima bolje raditi pomoću konceptualnih mapa. Ponovljenom završnom provjerom znanja kojom se ispitala retencija znanja utvrđeno je da uĉenici koji su uĉili pomoću mapa postžu bolje rezultate u odnosu na uĉenike koji su uĉili tradicionalnim naĉinom.

In order to test differences in the learning performance of students who maintain to education in a traditional manner and using conceptual maps during the school year 2013 / 2014th, it was was conducted research on a sample of 96 seventh grade students of two elementary schools. The study consisted of an initial assessment, treatment curriculum topics: Birds and Mammals, final Assessment and repeated the final assessment after the summer holidays. Questions of first cognitive levels in both tests are better solved by pupils who have classes conducted in a traditional manner, while the second-level issues better solved by pupils who are teaching content learned through conceptual map. Weaker and secondary pupils is better to work in the traditional way, good pupils achieve the same results by doing traditional or conceptual map, while the excellent pupils is better to work using the conceptual map. Repeated the final exam, which examined the retention of knowledge has been found that pupils who were taught using the maps achieve better results compared to students who learned by the traditional way .
