Abstract	Videoigre su kroz zadnjih nekoliko desetljeća dosegle veliku razinu popularnosti. Industrija proizvodnje videoigara danas je među najunosnijima u svijetu. Pojavom novih tehnologija, način proizvodnje videoigara neprestano se usavršava. U završnom radu Razvoj videoigara u kreativnoj industriji razmatra se industrija videoigara kao dio kreativne ekonomije i utjecaj koji ona ima na ekonomiju kao cijelu, te njezin nastanak i razvoj tijekom vremena s fokusom na žanr glazbenih videoigara kao revolucionarne promjene u glazbenoj industriji i industriji videoigara. Predstavljena je industrija videoigara u Republici Hrvatskoj, točnije, Croteam kao jedan od najuspješnijih domaćih studija za razvoj videoigara. Statistički podatci pokazuju ostvarenu dobit industrije videoigara kroz godine čime se dolazi do spoznaje da je industrija videoigara doživjela nagli uspon, te da je od značajnog doprinosa za domaće i globalno tržište.
Abstract (english)	Video games have reached a high level of popularity over the last few decades. The video game industry is among the moste profitable industries in the world. With the development of new technologies, video game production is constantly improving. In the final paper „Video game development in the creative industry“ discusses the video game industry as a part of the creative economy and the impact it has on it as a whole, its origin and development over time with a focus on the music video game genre as a revolutionary change in both music and video game industries. The video game industry in the Republic of Croatia was presented, more precisely, Croteam as one of the most successful domestic studios for video game development. Statistics show the profits of the video game industry over the years, which leads to conclusion that the video game industry has experienced a sudden rise, and that it is of significant contribution to both domestic and global market.
