This master's thesis is based on the analysis of the evolution and market of digital art in the context of the 21st century, with a special emphasis on its impact on art, relevant artistic works, and the emerging market. The significant role of technological advancement, enabling the creation of interactive digital art experiences and deepening the connection between artists and the audience, has been highlighted. Simultaneously, diverse manifestations of digital art through various media forms, including painting, sculpture, virtual reality, augmented reality, and others, have been explored. Special focus has been placed on the concept of NFTs and their sale, as well as the impact of decentralization on art and ownership of NFTs. By studying key works in digital art, key transformations and trends shaping the contemporary art scene have been identified. Through interviews with experts in the field, deeper insights into artistic media, the comparison between traditional and digital art, and how technological progress stimulates artists have been gained. The analysis emphasizes how digital art is transforming into a new artistic ecosystem, encouraging changes in the perception, distribution, and value of art. This paper aims to provide a better understanding of digital art, its role and importance in the market, as well as the trends and stability of the digital art market.
